This quilt came into being because I fell in love with the aqua green and blue fabric palette, evoking the sea and forest setting which I am privileged to call home. The design is my own, intended to call to mind a mountain setting with streams rambling their way to the ocean. Yama to Kawa, in Japanese, means Mountains and Streams. The palette fits comfortably into a wide variety of home decor settings, adding a splash of colour.

It is the ideal size for use as a cuddle-under throw in your sitting room, or as a bed throw to add a little extra colour and extra warmth on cold nights. The quilt finishes at 56" x 70".

The pattern includes easy instructions for working with half-rectangle triangles and does not require a special ruler.
