This simple yet elegant quilt pattern is designed to be made by new quilters and provides the opportunity for you to see how a variety of value (relative lightness or darkness) in your fabric selection can make even the simplest of designs very pleasing. The design is simple to construct and does not require a design wall to achieve a successful quilt.

The pattern calls for 2 background fabrics, 40" or 1 meter of each, and 5 half-meter cuts for the small squares.

The quilt finishes at about 51" x 68".
